The morning I fixated on my PS2

I've got a strange feeling this morning. Like there's so much I could be doing but really I just want to do nothing. Maybe it's the ADHD. Something just feels off today.

When my eyes opened from sleep the first thought that entered my mind was that of my PS2 slim sitting in the entertainment shelf gathering dust. How nice it would be to connect all the wires and fire up a game from my childhood. But then the adult sense of responsibility took over.

  • "I have a job. I must work! There's no time for nostalgia.."
  • "There's too many cables and accessories to find.."
  • "You'll just get bored of it anyway.."
  • "You can't really play video games anymore.."
  • "It won't be like it was back then.."

Video game consoles don't have feelings but if they did I wonder what it would be feeling. Lonely? Bored? Nostalgic ?

I've been listening to Tim's new composition "7 A.M.". It's really pleasant to the ears. I recommend you check it out.
